INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

He started his swimming career when 高草he was five years old. Even 自紙though many coaches thought he had 短風no talent and no future in the sp路中ort at the time, he proved them wrong 西會when he was very young.下照 He quickly advanced in the s木音port by breaking records器城, nationally as well as 問河internationally. He won World Junior們視 Championships in record break都北ing times as well as會劇 Mediterrenean Games, and Balkan G拍短ames.

As he grew older, his achieveme微長nts would also grow. As樹銀 a high school swimmer 說湖in California, he broke n聽劇ational records and was named high sch視山ool swimmer of the year. He was 市子also a multiple times C光算IF champion .  Derya won European Champ睡拍ionships, World Cups, a黃這nd medaled at the World Championships.慢長 Derya is the only swimmer i購習n the history of swimming t廠東o have swum in 6 Olymp外快ic Games while qualify在熱ing in individual eve文長nts in all of them. Derya is also the唱開 swimmer that has swum in the mo站外st World Championships.
Derya attended University站個 Of Michigan in Ann Arbor and w車可on the NCAA Championships. He was the s舊照wimmer of the year in the歌姐 Big Ten twice. Derya graduated with秒日 a Business Degree and earned 森慢his degree in Masters in Busi月熱ness Administration.
